Overview
We are seeking a senior Digital Capital Project Delivery Specialist for a 12-month contract, based full-time in Toronto, Canada. This role will support a major owner organization in advancing modern capital delivery practices through the development of governance frameworks, delivery processes, and enabling digital systems.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted specialist, working closely with leadership and project teams to define how capital projects are planned, governed, executed, and transitioned using contemporary digital delivery approaches. This role is execution-focused and suited to professionals who can operate comfortably across strategy, systems, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and rollout of owner-side governance models for capital project delivery, ensuring consistency, accountability, and alignment with organizational objectives
Define and standardize digital delivery processes across the capital lifecycle, including information workflows, data structures, and coordination requirements
Establish practical frameworks for the use of 3D design, BIM, project and asset information management, advanced work packaging, and integrated project controls
Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of digital platforms and tools used for capital project delivery, with a focus on interoperability and data quality
Partner with project management, engineering, construction, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to enable effective adoption of new systems and ways of working
Provide subject matter guidance to project teams on applying digital methodologies during planning, execution, and closeout phases
Develop training materials, reference guides, and support tools to build organizational capability and consistency
Define performance metrics and reporting approaches to monitor governance effectiveness, data integrity, and process maturity
Stay current on industry trends and emerging practices in digital capital delivery and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement
Ensure alignment with internal policies, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements
RequirementsEducation & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Master’s degree is considered an asset
Experience
Minimum 8+ years of experience supporting capital projects in owner, consultancy, or delivery environments
Professional Certifications
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent preferred
Certifications related to BIM, information management, or project controls (e.g., ISO 19650, CCM, AACE) are considered assets
Demonstrated experience implementing digital delivery methodologies on large or complex capital programs
Strong background in developing governance frameworks and standardized delivery processes
Hands-on experience with 3D design coordination, BIM environments, information management, advanced work packaging, and project controls
Proven ability to support system selection, integration, and operationalization across multiple teams
